Monsters Episode Recap- Episode 1 ended with Erik feeling suicidal and meeting his therapist, Dr. Oziel and confess everything about how he and his elder brother, Lyle has killed their parents. Dr. Oziel call Lyle to visit him as he wants to talk to him. Lyle gets very upset with Erik for telling all this. Dr. Oziel assures them that whatever they discuss with him remains confidential under the law but Lyle denies to share anything and take Erik and leave.
Episode 2 starts with the night when they killed their parents and after returning from outside, they called the police sobbing and when the police arrived, they both cried and said it was the mafia.
Officer take the Menendez brother to the police station to record their statements and meanwhile police continue to investigate the case and gather more evidence. Police were facing a lot of humiliation as so many days passed but there was no update on the case. The idea of a couple getting shot in their own house scared the locals.
After their parent’s death, both of them started to live a luxurious life. They got limousine car for each, bodyguard, assistants, branded clothes, expensive watches, house parties. While dancing in the party along many people, Lyle starts kissing Erik which became an akward moment for the rest. The only thing both of them worried about was if their parents mentioned their names in the will. The will was yet to be discovered and they planned to find it early and destroy it so that without a will, things will get transferred to the brothers automatically. While meeting with their business manager, they even asked if the police contacted him regarding the case with any progress of lead s to which he informed that they have found a whitebag in their house at the night of murder which might belong to a porn producer in the valley who was shot 9 times.
