Meanwhile, Noah and his friends pick out condoms in case their date is consummated. Sasha too picks out a condom and attempts to seduce Esther, who declines having already made plans with Rebecca for the night.
Noah and Joanne set off on their date only to be interrupted by Morgan who phones in to assign Joanne the errand of looking for the sex toy they need for the upcoming podcast. Noah agrees to go looking for it before dinner, not knowing what he is getting himself into.

Back at Sasha’s house, Miriam, his young daughter returns from a sleepover complaining about her friend sending her crush a text on her behalf. Sasha, desperate to spend some time alone is disturbed by the intrusion but helps his daughter out in the absence of Esther. He makes a fake profile by the same name as Miriam’s with a different last name to catfish the boy and texts the crush, only to realise that Miriam’s crush likes her back. Miriam apologises for doubting her father and Sasha feels proud to fill into Esther’s shoes.

While the couple hang around, joking and pranking each other, Noah runs into a board member of the temple in a compromising situation. Panicking over losing his job as the rabbi, Joanne manages to help him out by securing blackmailing material online. She finds out that the woman the board member was in the shop with was in reality his mistress, and that he had a wife back at home. Not only would this prevent Noah from losing his job but also provide incriminate evidence against the reputed board member.

However, Noah whips something up back at his place, impressing Joanne with his culinary skills. In a vulnerable moment, Joanne confesses her biggest fear of being emotionally dependent on a man who one day might break her heart and betray her. Noah promises to never do so and the two consummate their relationship. At the end of the episode, Joanne sends a video message to Morgan, reassuring her that Noah accepts her, even with all her quirks.
